An Example of Breaking Social Norms Using the TV Show Impractical Jokers [Video]

This comedic excerpt from the show “Impractical Jokers” is useful for illustrating the idea of social norms.  I use it to begin a discussion of how it becomes easier to “see” social norms when they are breached, as by the four men in this show who compete to embarrass each other.  In this video clip, one of the friends is dared to get a stranger to lie down on the floor of the mall and “spoon” with him.
