Controversy over an ad illustrates gender norms and homophobia [Video]

In this news report, various commentators react to a J.Crew ad depicting a mother and son, whose toenails are painted pink.  At the center of the debate is the topic of gender socialization and reproducing (or resisting/queering/creating new) gender norms. This video highlights the gender/sexuality panic surrounding how young boys are raised in today's culture and the persistence of homophobia.
