In this
documentary-style video "First Gay Hug," a heterosexual person and a homosexual person meet and
hug each other. The video captures the variety
of interactions, many of which are (on the part of the heterosexual person)
initially fearful, homophobic, or awkward.
The video captures not only preexisting assumptions, but also the
potential for change. This could be used an
example of social contact theory/hypothesis.
